Farrow & Ball
The curated palette historic and contemporary of 132 colours with the addition of a separate colour card os16 new colours in association with The Natural History Museum, Colour by Nature. You can see these colours in store and email to order the Natural History Museum colour card.
We’ve sold Farrow & Ball Paint for over 20 years and in that time their colours have become classics. This is the only extensive, ready-mixed paint range we sell. Farrow & Ball have a very high standard of colour accuracy and formulate innovative products; they were the first major paint maker to take solvent out of their manufacturing process. This means that all of their paints are water-based and the high pigment content gives the incredible depth of colour and a finish that you can only achieve with Farrow & Ball.
Earthborn Claypaint is a clay based breathable emulsion with a distinctive, ultra matt finish that softens and enhances the light in any room, while Earthborn’s contemporary colours tempt the senses. Look out for their new colour launch that is happening in the spring of 2021.
The unique clay recipe results in a hardwearing and highly breathable paint. It goes on really easily and often requires fewer coats than conventional emulsions. All this with no horrible smells or emissions either.
Earthborn Claypaint is the ideal product for lime render and as it is so breathable it’s the perfect choice for older homes as well. For new lime plaster we advise waiting at least 2 months for it to dry before painting – actual time required depends on plaster thickness.
Claypaint can also be used like chalk paint for producing distressed paint effects on furniture.
